How can I create a Percy account?
Percy is currently in closed beta for affiliates of select academic institutions. Please request access via our
contact form.
How much does Percy cost?
Percy is free to download and, subject to token limits, temporarily free to use for the duration of the closed beta period.
What are "External Data Sources," and how do I connect them?
Percy can work with files outside your main workspace folder. To connect them, open the Percy Project page (gear icon at top of the Percy sidebar), click the plus icon next to "External Data Sources," and add the appropriate file path.
Can Percy run Stata functions?
Yes! Percy integrates with Stata and can run the functions you desire in a .py file. (Percy can ingest .dta files, and support for .do files is coming soon.) To connect Percy to Stata, open the Percy Project page (gear icon at the top of the Percy sidebar), click the plus icon next to "Specialties," and connect to your edition of Stata.
Percy is having trouble with my [insert obscure format] files. What gives?
Right now, Percy is optimized for working with data in .csv format and writing code in Python. We look forward to supporting a broader range of file types and programming languages in the near future — stay tuned.
